Then it was time to sand their cars into shape. The right amount of weight distribution plays a big part in the speed of the car. We hope there wasn't any blisters!!!

The sanding dust was everywhere! The scouts, shown here, diligently sanding their cars. A smooth finish could mean a "smooth finish" at the finishing line of the race! From here, each boy took his car home to paint, assemble, decorate, and weight, to prepare it for the up coming... Pinewood Derby! Good Luck!!!
